The former wasteland near Avenue Durocher and Avenue Atlantic is now an ongoing construction site. Over the past decade roads, aqueducts and tunnels have appeared with dirt hills and ponds attracting new wildlife. All this has changed the area around it not only visually but sonically as well. New resonant surfaces have appeared in the form of concrete structures reflecting the sounds of approaching trains. Crickets sound alongside the resonant hums of nearby construction.

During the months of August and September 2016, we recorded the area and its development through field recording, video and photographs.
