Hólaneskirkja is a small church situated in the center of Skagaströnd, a small town in North West Iceland. The church was built on October 20th 1991.

During our time at the Nes Artist Residency we had the opportunity to record a new piece for processed horn, field recordings, organ and live electronics. The field recordings were captured near the ocean, just a short walk from the church. The organ (a permanent fixture in the church) and horn were played acoustically in the space and recorded live.
